Wes Himes

Wes Himes took part in the iGaming Super Show as managing partner of Instinctif Partners EU in Brussels. His career spanned public affairs on both sides of the Atlantic: he had worked at ALEC in Washington, founded the consultancy Policy Action in 2000, and served as executive director of the industry body that helped seed the Remote Gambling Association. He was also a non-executive director at a daily-fantasy-sports start-up.

His sessions brought a policy and public-affairs lens to the programme, examining how the industry engaged with regulators and lawmakers as gambling frameworks tightened across Europe.

Himes went on to become Executive Director of Standards & Innovation at the UK Betting and Gaming Council and later its Senior Adviser. He is now a partner at the public-affairs firm Intrepid Partners and a board member of PASS.
