Morten Ronde
Director of Education & Association Development, IMGL; CEO, DOGA, International Masters of Gaming Law
Morten Ronde came to the iGaming Super Show wearing two hats: Director of Education and Association Development at the International Masters of Gaming Law, and CEO of the Danish Online Gambling Association. He had spent twelve years as legal counsel to the Danish gambling authority and was one of the authors of Denmark’s online gambling reform, work that earned him the IMGL European Regulator of the Year award in 2010.
His involvement in the programme drew on both that regulatory background and his role in shaping the show’s education tracks, addressing how newly regulating markets could build workable licensing regimes.
Ronde has continued as CEO of the Danish Online Gambling Association and is managing and founding partner of Nordic Gambling in Copenhagen, as well as a co-initiator of the Gaming in the Nordics conference.
