Joerg Hofmann

Joerg Hofmann took part in the iGaming Super Show as a Senior Partner at MELCHERS and, at the time, President of the International Masters of Gaming Law. One of Germany’s foremost gaming lawyers since the mid-1990s, he had been recognised by Chambers as a leading individual in the field.

It was during his IMGL presidency that the IMGL Masterclass format was created, and that co-located education track became a fixture of the Amsterdam show. His sessions centred on the legal and regulatory questions shaping the German and wider European markets, an area in which he had advised operators and suppliers for two decades.

Hofmann has continued as Senior Partner and head of the gaming practice at MELCHERS in Heidelberg, and serves as a past president of the IMGL.
