Julian Artopé joined Moneybookers in August 2008. As Head of Marketing & PR, he is responsible for customer and merchant acquisition and retention, as well as developing Moneybookers’ communication and public relations. Before, he acquired several years of experience in the internet sector by working for studiVZ, the biggest social network in Germany as VP Community & Communications, and smava.de, the Berlin-based online peer-to-peer credit marketplace as well as Shoeboxed Inc. Julian holds a degree in General Management and Business Law from the European Business School, Oestrich-Winkel. He also studied at Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea.
