James has worked as a journalist for GamblingCompliance since receiving an MA in Latin American History and Politics from the University of London in 2006. A fluent Spanish and Portuguese speaker, James takes a particular interest in the larger South American gambling markets including Mexico and Brazil, but he equally covers the regulatory implications of political and legal developments in the United States and Europe. Since joining GamblingCompliance, James has moderated a debate on gambling addiction and public policy at the European Parliament in Brussels and also co-authored GamblingCompliance's 'Market Barriers: US Internet Gaming' report.
