Also called publishers or webmasters, an affiliate is a person that refers traffic (in this case players) to an operator website such as pokerlistings.com would refer a player to interpoker.com - The affiliate is then paid a revenue share or CPA (cost per acquisition) for each of the players they send. Affiliates are not necessarily website owners; they can also be bloggers, members of community forums, offline marketers, etc.  To qualify as an affiliate you do not have to be doing this full-time but you can not be working as a vendor, operator or supplier in the iGaming industry as this is strictly for affiliates only and not simply a way for non affiliates to bend the rules and get in free.
